About the event

The Concord Review, Inc., was founded in March 1987 to recognize and to publish exemplary history essays by high school students in the English-speaking world. With the Spring Issue (#124), 1,362 research papers (average 8,500 words, with endnotes and bibliography) have been published from authors in forty-six states and forty-one other countries. The Concord Review remains the only quarterly journal in the world to publish the academic history papers of secondary students. TCR has been recognized and praised the Washington Post, New York Times, the Atlantic, and leading academic institutions in the United States.

The Historia Project is a national student-run 501(c)(3) that aims to introduce history of science to the youth. In their work, they have impacted over 460 young students with their mission through both virtual and in-person platforms, including the Historia Virtual Museum, in-person workshops, and of course their guest speaker events. Today, the Historia Project has multiple regions throughout the country with passionate students all working to share their love for history of science.
